We took off to San Diego last semester for a Sea World trip. Rock is growing up so fast and developing quite the personality. He loved Shamu, but not as much as he loves sharks. He loves dinosaurs more then he loves sharks, but right now I doubt we'll make it down to Costa Rica to go to that dinosaur park from that movie a few years back.
So Rock took initiative and led the way. He's pretty bright, so we went along for a while with him at the helm. Then:
This look. This was the moment we realized he can't read quite yet. Or tell directions. But he did know what he wanted to see and that was sharks. We probably saw sharks a dozen times. After the sharks had been seen enough we took Momma back to the hotel and let her get some sleep while we took off for the coast. Rock and Dad went up to Torrey Pines and played in the surf a little. Rock wouldn't get between me and the ocean, but he got wet enough to find Momma some sea shells.
